Job Description

Position Summary

Black & McDonald Limited is actively seeking an IMAC Coordinator located in the Greater Toronto Area to provide support to the GTAA Services Division at Lester B Pearson Airport. This is a Full-Time (40 hours per week)  Monday – Friday  8am – 4pm position. 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all client interests are protected and kept confidential
  • Identify and resolve work order assignments at the operational level through the Service Desk Ticketing system
  • Support the Planet database by administering IT related Installations, Moves, Additions and Changes
  • Coordinate with various Trades, Consultants, Engineers and Management personnel to ensure that asbuild information is captured and documented accurately into the Planet database
  • Adhere to the process flow stipulated by the client through the Impact Ticketing process
  • Field audit of IT related information to ensure accuracy in the database
  • Oversee contractor installation practices to ensure quality standards are adhered to
  • Trigger and oversee the switch port recovery process
  • Provide Planet support for the Field Technicians as required
  • Document end user information and update the Planet Database

Desired Skills & Experience

Education & Skill Requirements
  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma is required
  • Strong knowledge of the MS Office Suite
  • Strong technical ability with the windows operating platform
  • Strong organization skills
  • Understanding Communication Cabling
  • CAD or Equivalent would be beneficial
  • Networking knowledge would be beneficial




    Must have a clear criminal record with no pending charges to possess the required Transport Canada RAIC security access clearance on this site. Candidates will be subjected to an extensive background check by multiple levels of Government before clearance is granted.
