We are currently recruiting for a dynamic Associate Business Development Representative to add to our Sales team in the Edmonton area. This is a junior level sales opportunity for someone who desires to become a sales professional in securing HVAC service, maintenance and contract agreements. The ideal candidate is passionate about sales, self-motivated, entrepreneurial-minded, and confident in their ability to influence others. Success in this role will create opportunities for the individual to advance within the organization and potential for increased financial return.
Reporting to the Sales Leader of the Alberta Region, you will be assigned a geographical or vertical market and will be responsible for prospecting potential new clients in your assigned market, uncovering the customer's needs, providing solutions, entering into service agreements and developing long-lasting business relationships.

Duties & Responsibilities
Researching, cold calling and setting up meetings with potential clients; following-through on qualified leads as identified by the Sales Leader
Meets with the customer and utilizes a consultative sales approach following company process; assesses potential client needs and resources and recommends an appropriate solution
Works with Project Representative and provides input where non contractual HVAC related services must be tailored to suit clients' needs
Prices the agreement according to the company's pricing standards
Develops, prepares and presents proposals as part of the sales process
Ensure smooth transition from contract sales to operations through participation in the "Contract Start-up Meeting"
Consults with customers after sale to resolve problems and provide ongoing support
Communicates in a cooperative and professional manner at all times, both with internal staff and customers
Keeps internal software and database up to date with sales activities
Participates in department planning meetings and attends company sponsored events, as required
Pursues required professional development programs
