Position Summary

The Project Coordinator will assist with the overall administrative direction for one large or several smaller construction projects.  They will assist with the overall performance, including the management of costs, schedule and project status while maintaining excellent relations with the employees, subcontractors, consultants and our clients.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan, in conjunction with the Project Manager, the execution of projects in accordance with Corporate Policy 
  • Assist with preparing contracts
  • Prepare progress reports
  • Assist in the purchase of supplies and materials
  • Prepare and maintain timesheets
  • Document control
  • Fleet/equipment management
  • Office management
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Scheduling
  • Change management 
  • ​Estimating
Desired Skills & Experience

​Competency Requirements

  • Knowledge of construction industry
  • Basic Blue print reading
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work in a multi-tasked, fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Exceptional planning, scheduling, and organizational skills ​
  • Detail oriented

Education & Skill Requirements

  • 2-3 years' experience in the construction industry on high-voltage civil or electrical projects
  • Experience with electrical/civil estimating is an asset
  • University degree in civil or electrical engineering, college diploma in construction engineering technology, or college diploma in construction project management
  • Effective and efficient written and verbal communication skills
