Job Description

Black & McDonald Limited is actively seeking  a Billing Administrator located in Vancouver, B.C.  This position will support our FMO and Service Divisions to maintain productive and efficient operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ability to understand and analyze financial data
  • Cost Control
  • Coding and reconciling payments to JD Edwards ERP system
  • Coordinate Material/Equipment Procurement
  • Accurate invoicing of customers, including timely review, printing and delivery of invoices
  • Preparing of documentation to assist with Accounts Receivable/Payable (eg. Invoices, Purchase Orders) etc.
  • Engage partners in billing, A/R management and collections activities
  • Assist the Manager in Planning & Scheduling
  • Manage JDE Computerized Maintenance Management System
  • Handle external and internal customer calls in a polite, professional and efficient manner
  • Completing time and attendance for hourly site employees (eg. Payroll Time Entry)
  • Documentation control – photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing
  • Other duties as assigned

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Post secondary education in a related field
  • 3-5 years experience in facilities management administration would be considered an asset
  • 3-5 years experience in accounting and or relevant financial management experience (e.g., billing, A/R management etc.)
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes including and a numerical aptitude
  • Ability to work in a multi-tasked, fast-paced and changing environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines 
  • Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven interpersonal, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong technical skills in Excel and Word
  • Demonstrates a commitment to providing excellent client service, by building and maintaining productive relationships with both internal and external clients
